Suicide meets fun: Joy Division + The Ramones cover(s)

As we promised about month ago, we did record of Joy Division's "Warsaw" with guest on vocals, my friend Smadgie Brown. Guitars are done yesterday, everything else is recorded in past month (or so). Belove you can listen to it:




And yesterday, when we (myself) mixed "Warsaw" after a big smile on my face I thought about what we can record next. My girlfriend and I love "I wanna be your boyfriend" by (The) Ramones.

So, I woke up today and told her, so she quickly grab guitar and started to learn it. I layed down vocals, drums and production on top.

This time we have never record a song (cover, yeah) faster. Below, you can take a listen for our cover version of song:

We are band from two different cities and we can't do rehersals normally, so we are more enjoying covering songs for now.

I talked with my friend on Sunday and telling him that we wan't to record something different aside hardcore punk, but something in vein of punk, something like post-punk.

So he said Joy Division!

I summed up, thinking that Joy Division is great band, but don't suits me on singin.
And he is a singer (formerly rapper), so he offer me (us) to record the vocals for our cover track.

Vocals and drums are done, so we are just waiting for guitar to record.
